While these sheets are soft, they are NOT 100% cotton. They are a microfiber, made of synthetic fibers (which means they will be easy to care for, wrinkle less, but make for a sweaty night's sleep). I am so angry because the packaging falsely advertises "100% Egyptian Cotton", yet in the smaller print you will notice when you receive the package, it reads "(compare to) 100% Egyptian Cotton". I really wish I wouldn't have bought these, because cotton sheets are so much more comfortable to sleep on and are breathable / less-thermal retentive.

The sheets were the thinnest sheets I have ever seen and could not possibly have been 1,200-1,500 weave count either. I'm beginning to think that some companies manufacture sub-standard products just to be sold on Amazon because they count on people not bothering to return items, but I did.

We ordered the sheets by the description of 100% Egyptian cotton and 1500 thread count. They are neither well maybe 1500 thread count but in microfiber. The packaging says 100% cotton the tag on the sheets say 100% microfiber. Microfiber is a synthetic material made from plastic. The sheets are not bad but i could have bought 200 thread count at walmart and would feel about the same. So if your looking for REAL Egyptian cotton these are not it.
